I hate WIND!!!
So we finally got to get out and PLAY a little golf over the weekend. We get a chance to SEE a lot of golf courses but we rarely get a chance to get out and PLAY some golf. So Sunday some friends and I got a chance to play Silver Spring golf course. I have played the “Island Course” a ton but I’ve never played the Falls Course until Sunday…and I got to tell you I really liked it. It’s extremely short (for me).
The thing I really liked though was you can’t bomb drives all day there. It really makes you think about what club to hit off the tee. There are several holes you can drive, but if your not careful there are a ton of BIG numbers waiting for you out there. I really enjoyed the 8 I took on little ‘ole 270 yard par 4 number 3. After that ordeal I starting playing a little smarter and had a ton of fun.
Golf is hard enough by itself, but factor in 40 mile an hour wind and then you’ve got some fun on your hands!!! If you get a chance play the little course at Silver Spring it’s a cool change of pace. I can’t wait to get back and take revenge on number 3
